Lucas Graduate Connection Launch Event
On October 10, 2006, the Lucas Graduate Connection formally launched as an alumni network with a panel discussion and reception held at the San Jose State University campus as part of the 2006 Homecoming celebration.

The topic of the evening was, "Networks: Good or Evil?" and explored the current trends and implications of social networking. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Simon Rodan, Professor, Organization and Management at the Lucas Graduate School of Business. The panelists were:

Sanford Barr—founder of Stirr Networks
Benjamin Wan—private angel investor
Vincent Lauria—vice president of product strategy at Meetro
